What work is included in Ven-Tech Diving Services?+
Ven-Tech Diving Services include underwater inspection and NDT, construction and repair, industrial and contaminated-water work, cathodic protection, mixed-gas and deep-air operations, salvage, confined-space work, underwater welding and burning, dam support, nuclear diving and cofferdam installation. Each scope is assessed and engineered for the actual site.
What underwater NDT methods are available?+
Project-specific underwater NDT can include detailed visual inspection, ultrasonic thickness measurement, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant testing, corrosion and pitting assessment, weld inspection, HD media, sonar and 3D documentation. Method suitability and personnel qualifications are confirmed during planning.
How do you decide between a commercial diver and an ROV?+
The decision considers access, depth, visibility, current, water quality, required dexterity, measurement needs, exposure controls and the desired deliverable. Ven-Tech can combine divers, ROVs, crawlers and sonar where a hybrid plan produces safer or more useful results.
Can Ven-Tech support confined-space or contaminated-water diving?+
Yes. These projects require additional hazard assessment, isolation, access, protective-equipment, decontamination, communication, rescue and emergency controls. Acceptance depends on a full review of the site, contaminants, work method and governing requirements.
Do you perform mixed-gas and deep-air diving?+
Yes. Ven-Tech supports mixed-gas and deep-air projects where the scope, depth, environment and risk assessment support that method. The final plan defines qualified personnel, equipment, breathing media, decompression, medical and emergency provisions.
What deliverables come with an underwater inspection?+
Deliverables can include indexed HD video and photographs, observation logs, measurement tables, marked drawings, NDT results, identified limitations, issue registers and a concise report organized for asset owners, engineers and maintenance planners.
What information is needed for a Diving Services quote?+
Send the location, asset type, water body, approximate depth, access, drawings, photos, known hazards, required work, inspection standard, desired deliverables and schedule. Previous reports and operating constraints help Ven-Tech develop a more accurate plan.
