Asset intelligence
Indexed visual evidence, measurements, NDT results and clear observations that support engineering review and maintenance priorities.
Inspection · construction · repair · recovery
Ven-Tech Diving Services deliver commercial diving, underwater inspection, NDT, construction and repair support for critical assets across Western Canada, Nunavut and the United States.
Commercial diving partner
Diving Services should solve the underwater problem—not simply put a diver in the water.
Ven-Tech connects field-proven commercial diving with engineering-minded planning, robotic support, NDT capability and clear reporting. The team works around asset condition, operational constraints, access, water quality and the decisions the client must make next. From a single intervention to a multi-year inspection, maintenance and repair program, each project is planned with defined controls, qualified personnel and a usable record of the work.
Diving Services capabilities
Every method, crew and tool package is selected around the asset, environment, task and evidence required.
01↗Visual inspection, ultrasonic thickness measurement, MPI, PT, corrosion mapping, weld review and organized evidence for engineering and maintenance decisions.
02↗Installation, repair, demolition, concrete support, intake and outfall work, marine infrastructure maintenance and project-specific underwater tooling.
03↗Controlled work in tanks, process facilities, wastewater, low-visibility water and other demanding environments using task-appropriate protective and decontamination controls.
04↗Anode inspection, reference-cell measurements, installation and replacement support, coating observations and documented corrosion-control field information.
05↗Planned deep-water operations with qualified personnel, surface-supplied systems, defined decompression and emergency arrangements appropriate to the approved scope.
06↗Search, stabilization, rigging, recovery and removal support for sunken equipment, vessels, debris and high-consequence marine incidents.
Complex conditions · controlled execution
Confined spaces, industrial liquids, limited access and zero visibility change the work. Ven-Tech builds the controls before mobilization, verifies them at the site and maintains direct supervision throughout the operation.
What the work delivers
Diving Services can move from condition evidence to physical intervention within one coordinated field program.
Indexed visual evidence, measurements, NDT results and clear observations that support engineering review and maintenance priorities.
Installation, alignment, fastening, cutting, welding, concrete and structural work performed against the approved method and drawings.
Coating observations, anode inspection and replacement support, reference measurements and targeted maintenance information.
Search, stabilization, rigging, debris removal and recovery support for planned work and time-sensitive marine incidents.

Specialized Diving Services
Ven-Tech’s service range extends beyond conventional marine work. Specialized operations are evaluated individually and built around the applicable technical, environmental and safety requirements.
Health, safety & environment
Commercial diving places planning, supervision, communications and emergency readiness at the centre of the operation. Ven-Tech reviews the applicable jurisdiction, client procedures, CSA diving practices and site conditions before work begins.
Asset information, environment, task steps, simultaneous operations and clearly defined limits.
Approved method, qualified personnel, surface supervision, communications and task responsibilities.
Access, lockout, flow, differential pressure, vessel traffic, confined-space and contamination interfaces.
Surface-supplied systems, breathing media, tools, PPE and project-specific checks and maintenance records.
Rescue capability, standby resources, medical arrangements, recovery paths and practiced communications.
Coverage verification, indexed media, measurement records, limitations, findings and action-oriented reporting.
Contractor assurance
Ven-Tech Diving Services are supported by a COR®-certified occupational health and safety management system, third-party contractor qualification programs, specialized inspection personnel and documented insurance coverage.
Project delivery
A clear four-stage path keeps the field work connected to the client’s operational and technical objectives.
Review drawings, history, access, hazards, water conditions, required work and the decisions the project must support.
Select the diving system, crew, robotics, tooling, NDT, isolation, emergency controls and acceptance criteria.
Mobilize, verify the site, maintain surface oversight, communicate continuously and confirm coverage in real time.
Organize media, measurements, observations, limitations and recommended actions into a practical project package.
Sectors we support
Diving Services are configured for organizations managing critical assets, demanding schedules, operating constraints and difficult underwater access.

Diving Services FAQ
Early asset, access and operating information helps Ven-Tech select the right method and develop an accurate field plan.
Ven-Tech Diving Services include underwater inspection and NDT, construction and repair, industrial and contaminated-water work, cathodic protection, mixed-gas and deep-air operations, salvage, confined-space work, underwater welding and burning, dam support, nuclear diving and cofferdam installation. Each scope is assessed and engineered for the actual site.
Project-specific underwater NDT can include detailed visual inspection, ultrasonic thickness measurement, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant testing, corrosion and pitting assessment, weld inspection, HD media, sonar and 3D documentation. Method suitability and personnel qualifications are confirmed during planning.
The decision considers access, depth, visibility, current, water quality, required dexterity, measurement needs, exposure controls and the desired deliverable. Ven-Tech can combine divers, ROVs, crawlers and sonar where a hybrid plan produces safer or more useful results.
Yes. These projects require additional hazard assessment, isolation, access, protective-equipment, decontamination, communication, rescue and emergency controls. Acceptance depends on a full review of the site, contaminants, work method and governing requirements.
Yes. Ven-Tech supports mixed-gas and deep-air projects where the scope, depth, environment and risk assessment support that method. The final plan defines qualified personnel, equipment, breathing media, decompression, medical and emergency provisions.
Deliverables can include indexed HD video and photographs, observation logs, measurement tables, marked drawings, NDT results, identified limitations, issue registers and a concise report organized for asset owners, engineers and maintenance planners.
Send the location, asset type, water body, approximate depth, access, drawings, photos, known hazards, required work, inspection standard, desired deliverables and schedule. Previous reports and operating constraints help Ven-Tech develop a more accurate plan.
