Who we are

Field experience.
Modern capability.

Ven-Tech was built around a simple idea: understand the asset, control the work and deliver evidence the client can use.

Established in 2014, Ven-Tech Subsea Inspections is a Canadian commercial diving and ROV company supporting underwater inspection, construction, reservoir, robotic and survey projects. The organization has grown beyond traditional diving by integrating ROVs, pipe crawlers, confined-space platforms, UAS, LiDAR, sonar and surface-vessel systems. That breadth gives owners and engineers a practical choice of methods while keeping planning, safety, field execution and reporting connected.

About every Ven-Tech project is a defined outcome: a verified condition, a completed repair, a cleaned asset, an accurate model or a documented route to the next decision.

About integrated operations

Use the right tool.
Keep one accountable team.

A diver, ROV, crawler, drone or survey platform may each answer a different part of the same asset problem. Ven-Tech can evaluate those options together, reduce handoffs and organize the resulting field evidence around one project objective.

  • 01 Define the question before selecting the equipment
  • 02 Compare access, risk, measurements and operating constraints
  • 03 Integrate complementary methods where they improve coverage
  • 04 Deliver traceable records for engineering and maintenance review

About our operating values

What guides
the work.

These values shape decisions in the office, during mobilization and at the worksite.

01

Safety

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in and out of the water. Human life and environmental protection take precedence over commercial pressure.

02

Quality

Plan and deliver work against the applicable scope, standard, procedure and acceptance criteria, with records that support review.

03

One-Team

Put collective capability ahead of individual success, communicate clearly and coordinate people, equipment and disciplines around the mission.

04

Focus

Understand the client’s actual need, protect critical constraints and keep the field effort aligned with the outcome that matters.

About Ven-Tech FAQ

About the team
behind the work.

These answers summarize Ven-Tech’s company background, service model, safety approach and project coverage.

What is Ven-Tech Subsea Inspections?

Ven-Tech Subsea Inspections is a Canadian commercial diving, robotics and survey company established in 2014. The company supports underwater inspection, construction, reservoir, ROV, pipe, UAS, LiDAR, hydrographic and geophysical projects across Canada.

Where does Ven-Tech operate?

Ven-Tech supports projects nationwide and maintains operating locations in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Mobilization, jurisdictional requirements, crew and equipment are confirmed for each project.

What makes Ven-Tech different from a conventional diving contractor?

Ven-Tech can combine commercial divers with ROVs, pipe crawlers, confined-space robots, UAS, sonar and survey systems. This allows the project method to be selected around risk, access and the required evidence instead of forcing every problem through one platform.

How does Ven-Tech manage safety and quality?

Ven-Tech uses a documented safety management system, project-specific hazard assessment, defined operating procedures, trained personnel, equipment controls, emergency planning, field records, audits and management review. Applicable regulations, standards and client requirements are reviewed for every scope.

What certifications and training do Ven-Tech personnel hold?

Personnel qualifications vary by project and may include DCBC, CSWIP 3.1U and 3.2U, CWB and AWS welding credentials, bridge-inspection training, OPITO BOSIET and HUET, dive-medic, Transport Canada vessel-operator and specialist commercial-diving certifications.

What is ATHENA?

ATHENA is Ven-Tech’s operational support framework. It helps connect project intake, HSE planning, field execution, inspection evidence, quality records and audit-ready deliverables within one coordinated workflow.

How can I request a project assessment?
