Light Working Class ROV

Our REVOLUTION is the most intuitive and stable ROV for underwater surveys and inspections, built tough to survive harsh underwater conditions to accomplish complex missions. The revolving head provides unmatched flexibility for key attachments, allowing  to rotate imaging sonar, ultra high definition camera and grabber to get the optimal angle depending on the task at hand.

Our REVOLUTION has advanced autonomous stabilization and position tracking features. Allowing operators the ability to station hold against currents and pilot their vehicle precisely and accurately through varying water conditions. Post-dive, we take the recorded GPX data alongside our video and share them with our customer or team.

Working Class ROV

Our H300 MK2 is a man portable and compact size remotely controlled vehicle (ROV) for subsea operations up to 300m depth. In its basic version, it is already equipped with a high performance viewing system; furthermore, its modular design permits the easy incorporation of options such as  a wide range of sonar, manipulator arms,  tools and any type of sensors.

Standard viewing system includes a 10x  zoom color TV camera  which is  mounted on a full pan/tilt unit providing a panoramic viewing of the environment without having to turn the ROV around ; and since strong LED lights are also mounted on the P/T, they follow the movements of the camera, securing optimum lighting. A full HD camera version is available as option. A 5-function electric manipulator arm can be installed on a skid underneath the ROV. H300-MK2’s lightweight makes it easy to handle and launch.

Designed to be flexible to fit any customer requirements, H300-MK2’s unique architecture benefits from easy access to all sub-systems, making it easy of maintenance. A single and ergonomic control unit allows the control of both ROV and additional equipment. The umbilical cable is housed on a manual winch, easy to transport, and equipped with a slip ring assembly.

Low-Visibility Operations

Cameras and diver’s eyes often are unable to effectively search due to poor visibility underwater. An imaging sonar is the best tool to then reidentify the target, since oftentimes side scan data does not produce an exact location (so navigating back to the potential target can be difficult). Once the target is reidentified, the sonar can be used to continue to track the target as you move closer, and when you get close enough, it can even be used to perform the visual verification.

Our Oculus M-series multibeam sonars are a new generation of imaging sonar, designed for use across a wide variety of underwater applications.

Their small form factor makes them ideally suited for deployment onto micro sized ROV platforms, while their rugged construction also makes them an excellent choice for larger work-class vehicles and subsea infrastructure.

Cygnus Thickness Gauge | Non-destructive testing tool, the ultrasonic thickness gauge probe

Cygnus is the industry-leading ultrasonic thickness gauge which Ven-Tech Subsea integrated onto our Deep Trekker ROV, allowing us to evaluate the thickness of steel on tanks, hulls or other metal surfaces without needing dive intervention or draining the asset.

This ultrasonic thickness (UT) probe presses on the surface, taking an accurate measurement even through marine growth or coatings. The data is then displayed and recorded via Cygnus software on a laptop.

The probe is able to take readings through up to 1/2″ or 12mm of soft marine growth or coatings to take a reading of the steel. This is a great tool for corrosion surveys for UWILDs on FPSOs or Vessels, as well as for steel tanks and pipes and other surfaces.

Cathodic Protection Probe | Non-destructive testing tool

Effectively evaluate and subsequently manage corrosion on submerged metal surfaces without needing diver intervention with our digital Cathodic Protection probe.

Assess and monitor corrosion inhibiting systems in a wide range of applications such as wind farms, vessels and other steel structures like bridges with cathodic protection. Ideal for attaching to our REVOLUTION ROV, the CP Probe allows for convenient and advanced underwater inspections. Unlike conventional CP systems, the DigiCP digitises the analogue CP voltage subsea and transmits it to the surface.

Pipe Profiling Sonar

We have Intergrated the Imagenex 831L Pipe Profiler Sonar on our ROVs and our pipe crawlers. This sonar scans in a 360 degree pattern and sits out front of the vehicle. On a laptop, the Imagenex Pipe Sonar L software displays a 2D profile of the pipe. This can indicate the ovality of a pipe, any major defects, and sediment levels at the bottom as the robot drives down the pipe. The sonar only works in submerged sections of the pipe. Using additional third party software, users can take the 2D pipe profiles and stitch them together into a 3D model of the pipe for better visualization of the pipes condition and for comparisons over time.

This cutting-edge sonar technology expands the capabilities of our ROV, enabling comprehensive 360-degree scans of submerged pipes. Detect flaws, measure ovality, and gauge sediment levels with unparalleled precision. The accompanying Imagenex Pipe Sonar L software transforms these scans into detailed 2D pipe profiles, delivering real-time insights into pipe conditions. But the innovation doesn’t stop there – integrate third-party software to seamlessly create intricate 3D models. With this integration, our REVOLUTION  ROV becomes a powerful tool, ensuring your underwater inspections are not only thorough but also future-proofed for the evolving demands of the industry.  The sonar footage is transferred up the tether and through controller to a laptop. The laptop displays the live 2D “circle” from the sonar as the operator drives the ROV.

Pressure Washer/Caviblaster Integration for underwater cleaning of vessels, chains, intakes and more.

Clean marine growth off underwater surfaces without hiring divers or drydocking. The Caviblaster/Pressure Washer attachment for our ROV or crawler expands its abilities beyond inspection and allows for remote cavitation/cleaning removal. Equipped with a 50-meter (165ft) hose.

Clean chains, propellers, hulls, intake structures and more underwater. This is a safer and more cost effective alternative to using divers to clean a structure or bringing the structure or vessel out of the water for cleaning. The Caviblaster/Pressure Washer is mounted on an actuator on our REVOLUTION ROV, which is able to rotate 90 degrees, allowing you to get the optimal angle on the surface that you are cleaning. The caviblaster uses vaporization, bubble generation and bubble implosion, which generates shockwaves that release tremendous amounts of energy to allow for easy separation from the surfaces being cleaned.
