In response to growing industry demand for subsea NDT services, Ven-Tech Subsea Inspections has developed a full-time team of specialist inspection divers who are formally qualified in advanced NDT techniques (3.1U and 3.2U). We can carry out ultrasonic double echo metal thickness gauging and MPI crack testing on various steel structures in the marine environment. NDT equipment can be used as a method to ascertain metal loss due to corrosion, for example, steel reservoir floors, non access tank floors and walls, bridge pylons, caissons and more.
Our team is made of a group of highly trained, experienced certified divers and are all WCB/CSA certified. We are experienced in the many challenges involved with inspection, maintenance/ repair and construction diving, including; confined spaces, pipe penetrations, dams, rivers, low or no visibility, deep waters, biological hazards, contaminated environments and liquids other than water. Ven-Tech Subsea provides full solution diving and support services to the construction industry, using qualified, highly skilled personnel. We have extensive equipment for underwater welding and cutting operations and have the qualified personnel to complete the work safely and efficiently. Our professional divers are certified and highly experienced in wet welding and can provide weld procedures and testing for all works. We offer diving services using Commercial Scuba, Surface Supply Diving and can use Mixed Gases and Rebreathers as required.
