Our professional team is made of a group of highly trained, experienced certified divers and are all WCB/CSA certified. In addition, all our divers are certified and experienced CSWIP 3.1U/ 3.2U Inspection divers and are certified to do Weld Inspections using Non-Destructive Testing techniques.
All individuals participating on the project as welder-divers will undergo a weld coding before to the start of any welding programme. This is carried out using the same materials, electrodes, positional requirements and, where possible, under the same environmental conditions particular to the project. The resulting test coupons are sent to the customer for testing, or in-house testing and examination is performed with the results provided to the client.
To further encourage client participation and monitoring Ven-Tech Subsea has established a wet welding training tank with one of our partners at our workshop in Seattle (Washington State) with direct view ports and closed circuit video.
