Our potable grade diving and ROV services are backed up by an experienced management team including several personnel with degrees in water quality disciplines. We have written procedures and risk registers for all tasks undertaken and can offer chlorine and turbidity monitoring during cleaning and inspection tasks. (Reservoir Cleaning and Inspections)
When it comes to standards and compliance for public health and safety, our dive team has a tremendous amount of experience, that can mobilize in a moments notice and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
Our divers are available and prepared to handle the most critical and challenging potable water projects. All of Ven-Tech Subsea’s associated in-tank equipment and divers are fully disinfected according to AWWA Standard C65c-02 prior to each dive.
All work can be performed while your system is full and operating in a normal manner, eliminating downtime and loss of storage capacity. Our standards exceed the requirements of the AWWA for diving in potable water tank storage systems, and all our operations are conducted in full compliance with Work Safe/WCB and CSA regulations. (Reservoir Cleaning and Inspections)
Drinking water that is free of contaminants is crucial for survival, which means wells, reservoirs, and storage tanks must be well-maintained and inspected on a regular basis.
Our advanced ROVs and divers work in the potable water and fire suppression industries, where they play a critical role in tank maintenance and can stay submerged for hours or days at a time.
The ROVs can be combined with additional inspection equipment like as ultrasonic thickness metres and manipulator arms (grippers) based on client needs, and can be employed when customers are unable to remove the water tank or reservoir from service for human examination. (Reservoir Cleaning and Inspections)
Our diving and dredging equipment is of the highest quality, and it can clean tanks and reservoirs with very little water. Our diving systems are completely compliant with WorkSafe BC, WCB, and CSA regulations for commercial diving, and all equipment is physically tagged to show it is devoted to potable water use. A tank clean is also an excellent time to evaluate the tank because there are no expenditures connected with mobilisation or demobilisation.
All of our tank inspections (both potable water and fire deluge) come complete with a full suite of high resolution photos, high definition videos, and full written report. Our reports are uploaded securely to the cloud for each client, who can then log in and view the full report for each asset from any location and and internet able device (such as iPads and smartphones).
